From 18.00 we invite you to the Oberhausen museum platform (tracks 4 and 5), which is already full of art. Everyone is welcome who is open-minded towards trans and queerness.
We are looking forward to YING YUN CHEN & ESTE KIRCHHOFF composing music and dance in real time on the platform. Afterwards we celebrate the premiere of the autofictional musical "XENIA - THE MUSICAL" with lecture passages, NoWave noise, drag clown performance, piano strumming and dance.
Finally, there will be the 90-minute Hyperpop Sugarush Party with DJ SUGATAURR.

18.30 YING YUN CHEN & ESTE KIRCHHOFF - Real Time Composition - Music & Dance
Ying Yun Chen and Este Kirchhoff create compositions in real-time using dance/movement and music/sound. Their performances are often site-specific and make use of their surroundings, incorporating cues from the audience.
Past performances include a live-streamed collaboration between Essen, Germany, and Tainan, Taiwan, as part of the Taikang Culture Festival, and a performance in the Blueprint Cultural Park in Tainan.

Xenia Ende invites you to a musical, performative and political journey from the origins of gender to the oceans of love. In this piece ruhr-based transvangardist performance artist Xenia Ende illuminates the genesis of trans-dimensional self-acceptance and serves trans-metaphysical explanations for pretty much everything. Open up for a play of sound, words and images, a playful and humorous exercise in soft world building with a radical twist.

Ying Yun Chen und Este Kirchhoff schaffen in Echtzeit Kompositionen aus Tanz/Bewegung und Musik/Klang. Ihre Performances sind oft ortsspezifisch und nutzen die Umgebung, indem sie Hinweise des Publikums einbeziehen.
Zu den bisherigen Auftritten gehören eine per Live-Stream übertragene Zusammenarbeit zwischen Essen, Deutschland, und Tainan, Taiwan, im Rahmen des Taikang-Kulturfestivals sowie eine Performance im Blueprint Cultural Park in Tainan.
