Antinational Embassy kommen nach Oberhausen! Zwei Jahre nach ihrem ersten Auftritt auf dem Museumsbahnsteig bilden sie nun den krönenden Abschluss des ABOUT DULDUNG Festivals, das sich vom 12.-14.11. auf verschiedenste Art und Weise mit dem Thema Duldung auseinandersetzt.
Antinational Embassy ist eine Gruppe von Sängern und Musikern aus verschiedenen Teilen der Welt, vor allem aus Afrika, Amerika und Europa. Sie entstand 2013 in der besetzten Schule in der Ohlauer Straße im Bezirk Kreuzberg, während der sozialen Flüchtlings-Solidaritätsbewegung und des Widerstandskampfes auf dem Oranienplatz in Berlin, Deutschland.
Das allgemeine Konzept der Band ist es, durch Riddims wie Reggae, Ska-Rock, Hip-Hop u.a. den Glauben zu verbreiten, dass "We are one" sind. Dass die Bewegungsfreiheit in all ihren Dimensionen ein Grundrecht für jedes Lebewesen ist und dass der Widerstand gegen Ungleichheit und Ungerechtigkeit die Pflicht der Botschaft ist, die durch die Musik verbreitet werden soll.

Antinational Embassy are coming to Oberhausen! Two years after their first appearance on the museum platform, they are now the crowning finale of the ABOUT DULDUNG festival, which will deal with the topic of "Duldung" in a variety of ways from November 12-14.
Antinational Embassy is a group of singers and musicians from different parts of the world, mainly from Africa, America and Europe. It was formed in 2013 in the squatted school in Ohlauer Straße in the Kreuzberg district, during the social refugee solidarity movement and resistance struggle in Oranienplatz in Berlin, Germany.
The general concept of the band is to spread the belief that "We are one" through riddims such as reggae, ska-rock, hip-hop and others. That freedom of movement in all its dimensions is a fundamental right for every living being and that resistance to inequality and injustice is the duty of the message to be spread through music.
